In which I tried to imitate the style of 10th-11th century Anglo-Saxon miniatures. Not the fanciest ones, of course, because those gilded, heavily ornate frames are way above my capabilities. I used lots of actual illuminations as reference and stole the parchment texture (I don't know who made it). An illustration for Eadric's Árbædes Brandas story. Árbæd hands over the three swords so that Heremód will let his daughter go.
